Valentine's Day Banner

Well I was able to finish one more project I had in the works for Valentine's Day!  I made this kinda wacky, but fun banner with scrapbook paper, ribbons, buttons and other odds and ends.

I spelled out the word love, cuz you know, Valentine's Day IS the day for love!

 I had another project I wanted to do but probably won't get it done this year.  Oh well, till next year.

Valentine's Day Garland

Are you ready for Valentine's Day?  I'm getting there.  I decided to try to make a few things this year for decorating the place. I realized that I didn't have many Valentine's Day decorations except for my little wreath.  So scouring Pinterest (of course) gave me a few ideas and I looked through my craft supply stash to see what I could come up with.  I made this simple but cute garland!  I love it!

I had the small, paper doilies left over from something or other, a baby shower perhaps.  I dug out my scrapbook paper remembering that I had some Valentine's themed papers and cut some heart shapes. I glued those to the paper doilies and that's it!  I strung it up with some pom poms I also dug up from my stash. I'm telling you---super simple. 

 I'm super pleased with it and it didn't take much time at all. I started and finished it during my son's nap. Sometimes the simpler projects are the most successful!
