Wow--December flew by. We were super busy traveling this holiday season and it all seems like a blur! So now it's on to another year. I hope to do tons of stitching and painting this year, at least in the first half of the year because the second half, Colby and I will be a bit busier. We are going to have a baby so I know those first few months will pretty much be feeding and diaper detail--but oh what a wonderful thing! We are both over the moon about it and eager about our new adventure.
I thought I'd get together a little collage of the things I was able to make last year. I was pretty productive, even though I only churned out one painting--will have to do better. But this past year I really enjoyed just sitting on the couch, watching tv and stitching away. It's so relaxing for me, especially after working all day. This actually isn't even everything I worked on--I stitched a bunch of things for Christmas that I didn't even get pictures of!
1. Sock Monkey giving love, 2. Gypsy Tree, 3. L-O-V-E pillow, 4. Swirly Whirly Tree, 5. Tara McPherson pattern, 6. Michael Sieben pattern, 7. Sunflower, towel, 8. Swap piece, 9. SS Tara Mcpherson embroidery, 10. Golden Snitch, 11. Harry Potter, 12. Team Duckie, 13. Phat Quarter Swap Piece, 14. The Frankster, 15. Halloween kitchen towel, 16. "A Place To Be"
So I hope you had a wonderful 2011 and all the best for 2012!!

I'm trying to restrain myself but being fresh into mommyhood with a 7 week old, I already have some do's and don'ts that worked for me. Let me know if you want to hear any of it, and if not, please don't be offended. All the advice can be so damned overwhelming! I think you guys are going to be GREAT parents and I could not be happier for you! Much love and well wishes to you!
congratulations on your pregnancy!- you will have some time left to craft, I promise. With both my boys I have found that whilst pregnant the tiredness has meant i didn't feel so much like stitching but once they were born I would stitch during the long feeding sessions, my blog did fall by the wayside though :D
Hi Sewphie!! Thank you!
Bex--I welcome all advice! I will take it all in and decide what will work for me! Feel free to email or face book me!
